A force to be reckoned with
Born in 1983 in Stockholm, Jakob Koranyi has toured the
world extensively as a soloist and chamber musician. Due
to the acute state of the climate crisis Jakob made the
decision in 2019 not to accept assignments that require
him to travel by air until an environmentally compatible
way of doing so is found. Jakob is now touring Europe by
train as well as teaching at the Royal Academy of Music
in Stockholm.
